Hello and welcome,
I didn't set out to become an ADHD coach. Like many people, I came to this work through my own experience. I watched someone I love struggle with a system that wasn't built for them and felt helpless, not knowing how to help. As a parent of a neurodivergent child and a teacher with over 20 years of experience, I wanted to understand Neurodiversity beyond the stereotypes and misconceptions. That journey led me to a deeper understanding of the real, nuanced and deeply human experience of raising and supporting children who experience the world differently. What I discovered changed everything. Today, my professional knowledge and personal experience come together to shape the work I do, supporting families as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of raising neurodivergent children.
Through my teaching career, I have worked with many children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other neurodivergent profiles. But my understanding deepened even further when my own family began this journey. Like many parents, I found myself trying to navigate assessments, school support, emotions and everyday challenges - often feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.
That lived experience gives me a deep empathy for the families I work with. I understand first-hand how difficult it can be to navigate the different pathways of a neurodivergent journey: the questions, the worries, the advocacy, the judgement and the constant search for the right support.
I truly believe that no family should have to go through this journey alone. Every parent deserves guidance, reassurance and practical strategies that make everyday life feel calmer and more manageable.
When parents feel supported and empowered, their children benefit the most.
